If you're planning to upgrade your Insta360 gear, the Trade-In Program makes it easy to estimate the value of your old device, place your new order, and send in your trade-in for final evaluation. This FAQ walks you through the process step by step.

How do I participate in the Insta360 Trade-In Program?

To participate, follow these steps:

1. Visit the Insta360 Trade-In Portal online.

2. Select your old device model and answer the questions about its condition to receive an estimated trade-in value.

3. Add the new device to your cart, complete payment, and submit your order.

4. Ship your old device to the designated address using the prepaid shipping label provided in your confirmation email.

5. After inspection, receive the final trade-in value by bank transfer if your device matches the description you provided.

What do I need before I start?

Before you begin, make sure you have the following ready:

• Your old Insta360 device model

• Basic information about the device's condition

• A new device you want to purchase

• Access to your email inbox for the confirmation email and shipping label

How does the trade-in process work?

Step 1: Get an estimated trade-in value

Go to the Insta360 Trade-In Portal and choose your old device model. Then answer the condition questions as accurately as possible. The portal will show you an estimated trade-in value based on the information you provide.

Step 2: Place your new order

Add the new device to your cart, complete checkout, and submit your order. After your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with the prepaid shipping label and return instructions.

Step 3: Ship your old device

Pack your old device securely and send it to the designated address using the prepaid shipping label. Please ship it within 20 days of placing your order to keep your trade-in eligible.

Step 4: Receive your final trade-in value

Once your device arrives, it will be inspected. If the device matches the description you provided, you will receive the final trade-in value by bank transfer.

What if my device condition is different from what I selected?

The final trade-in value is based on the inspection results. If the device does not match the condition you described in the portal, the final value may be adjusted.

How long do I have to send in my old device?

You must ship your old device within 20 days of placing your order. Use the prepaid shipping label included in your confirmation email.

When will I receive payment for my trade-in?

After the device is inspected and confirmed to match the description you provided, the final trade-in value will be sent to you by bank transfer.
